Course Description:
Students will read a variety of Roman historians in Latin and in Translation in order to (1) develop an ability to read and analyze complex Latin texts in their context, and (2) understand the fundamentals of the periods, sources and techniques of analysis in ancient Roman history. The primary focus of the course is on developing swift and accurate reading ability in Latin.
